Bangladesh seal the series despite Rohit's cameo

Mehidy Hasan's continued batting prowess helped Bangladesh win the ODI series 2-0 with a stunning performance with the ball in defense of a total of 271. Hasan finished with his first ODI century. Rohit Sharma's late cameo, during which he scored an unbeaten 51, was ineffective as Bangladesh maintained their impressive home record. They haven't suffered an ODI series loss at home since October 2016.

When it came to the ball, Ebadot Hossain made key strikes that benefited Bangladesh. He also started the glut of wickets when he got Virat Kohli to chop on. Rohit, who suffered a left hand injury during fielding, had Kohli fill in as the opener.

Rohit, who eventually came in at No. 9, managed to hit four sixes against Ebadot Hossain and Mahmudullah, delaying the inevitable and extending the chase into the last over. In order to defeat the seasoned Mustafizur Rahman, India needed 20 off the last over. When only six was required off the penultimate ball, Rohit extended it, but Mustafizur kept it full enough to keep Rohit from going under.

However, India had been supported by a 107-run partnership for the fifth wicket between Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel when it came down to Rohit. Prior to Iyer and Patel's superb counterattack, India had fallen to 65/4 as Bangladesh continued to make frequent gains. The latter got things started by hammering three sixes against left-arm spinners, and Iyer later joined in. But when Iyer attempted to bat against Mehidy Hasan, he slipped and holed out to deep midwicket. Axar then quickly chipped Ebadot to cover. India fell short of the objective with a score of 189/6 but eventually managed to mount a threat owing to an amazing cameo by Rohit.

After being reduced to 69/6 at one point, Mehidy Hasan and Mahmudullah mounted a stunning comeback that led to Bangladesh's 271 total. Mehidy scored his first ODI century, and the pair put on a partnership of 147 to help Bangladesh recover with the bat for the second straight game.

After deciding to bat, Bangladesh made a mistake right away when Mohammad Siraj struck twice with powerful off cutters to dismiss both Litton Das and Anamul Haque. Najmul Hossain Shanto was removed by Umran Malik with a 151 kph delivery that uprooted the offstump, adding to the damage. Washington Sundar, who took three wickets in two overs, including the important ones of Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim, severely weakened Bangladesh.

When Mehidy joined Mahmudullah, Bangladesh were in a grave situation after losing six for 69. Early on, the pair took risks, with Mahmudullah in particular surviving a few opportunities that didn't work out. After the spinner, Mehidy started to pick up the pace, slashing Axar Patel for a few boundaries before lofting Washington Sundar for a six.

After putting together a fifty-run partnership in 62 balls, the pair accelerated. Before Mahmudullah was removed for 77 after being caught behind by Umran Malik, Bangladesh sped ahead in the middle overs with both players reaching their fifties in quick succession.

At this point, India still had a chance to slow down the rate of scoring, but Mehidy Hasan exploded in the final four overs, scoring 34 runs on his own, including two sixes in the penultimate over that helped him reach his first ODI century off the final ball of the game.

Cricket Betting: A system for placing bets on Test matches

It is the game's most traditional and crucial format. For five days, it is a true measure of quality. Cricket fans should be able to quickly identify which players will dominate the matchdays during the competition by looking at the list of the best players in the world. Joe Root, Alastair Cook, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Stuart Broad, and James Anderson, for instance, will play significant roles in the England contests.

Root, Cook, and Bainstow topped the list with the best odds in our prior analysis of top hitter betting markets. They are the team's most excellent players and have performed admirably for the "three lions" for many years in Test match stadiums. The pitch's conditions or the state of form, for example, can have an impact on the quotas that support them. While some players do better in comfortable surroundings, others excel while traveling.

Even though Root has been a key member of the England team and has consistently performed over time, he has had trouble scoring frequently. Therefore, it would not be wise to support him with the game's top score. Cook has had trouble maintaining consistency, yet he is capable of producing a large number of runs or innings. Placing a wager always involves making choices, most of which are based solely on intuition.
