Test match between India and Australia will start on February 9 in Nagpur

The BCCI declared that the highly anticipated India-Australia Test series will start on February 9 in Nagpur. After a three-day break, the final Border-Gavaskar test series before it expands to five matches will be played in Delhi (February 17–21). Prior to the third Test at Dharamsala (March 1–5), the teams will have a week off. Thereafter, there would be a shorter turnaround before the final Test in Ahmedabad (March 9-13).

The final three ODIs of Australia's tour of India will be played in Mumbai (March 17), Visakhapatnam (March 19), and Chennai (March 22), just before the IPL's upcoming season.

Prior to this series, India will play two shorter white-ball matches against Sri Lanka and New Zealand in the beginning of the year. Prior to playing one-day matches in Guwahati, Kolkata, and Trivandrum, Sri Lanka will open their series on January 3 with three Twenty20 Internationals in Mumbai, Pune, and Rajkot.

On January 18, New Zealand will begin their three-match ODI series. The second ODI will be played in Raipur's Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, which will be hosting its first international match. The three T20I matches will take place in Ranchi, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad, with the series lasting until February 1.

Cricket BettingWhat you need to know about the ODIs

Markets can have varying effects on this cricket format when playing time limitations are taken into consideration. I'll use England as an example once more: Ever since they were humiliated at the last World Cup, the "Three Lions" have become the best side in the world. With its current attacking style of cricket, England has surpassed both Australia and India.

They are a weak squad in fewer games due to the nature of their playstyle, though. The ICC Champions Trophy loss England suffered at home to Pakistan as a result shows that even the best are not unbeatable. Despite a number of issues and playing in unfamiliar circumstances, the Green Army went on to win the competition.

Because the cue ball is significantly more unpredictable and has the ability to level playing surfaces, outcomes in India and Australia like the Baggy Greens' 4-1 loss to England in 2018 are more likely to occur. The British are the favorites for the 2019 World Cup, which will be held in England, based on his performance.

Early batters, who should spend more time on the line than their contemporaries, dominate the market for hitters. However, if Josh Buttler decimates opponents late in the rounds, there are still tremendous values to be found further down the line. Players like Bairstow and Jason Roy have utilised their batting position to collect some decent runs.

The same applies to bowlers because, in theory, early bowlers have a better chance of leading the wicket column. However, timing is more crucial than in the batsmen's market since bowlers who come in late in the innings have a better chance of picking up more wickets as the batting team attempts to increase its chances of scoring.

Even the size of the pitch, where the difference between a four and a six might be significant, should be taken into account when playing one-day internationals.
